What a defeatist, white flag raising thread. Typical of some of the posters on here who seemingly take delight when the team and manager fail.
Moyes is doing an excellent job and the team are having an excellent season, so there's no one to fear in this league, not even Man City.
The loan signing of Lingard has been inspired and has improved our starting XI and options in the attacking midfield positions (for a start Lingard actually has a goal threat in him).

Everyone is getting way ahead of themselves. That fixture list is hard and we dont even have a striker and our best CB is fucked.
I fear we will come back down to earth with a bump. Seven points from that lot will represent a good return given the current circumstances.

COYI hardly defeatest I've said we are riding a high.. I'm a realist been a West Ham fan a very long time so it's hard to get out of the mindset that we are heading for a fall but the next few games are tough and will potentially define the season... only time will tell so I'd like to know if I'm worrying unnecessarily...

Next 2 games are the only ones that particularly worry me.
Spurs are a better away team who will raise their game and we pretty much have no chance against city if they play like they have been, which is on a different planet to any other team in England.
Fuck the rest though, so long as he doesn't do the fucking awful tactics like against Liverpool and man utd in the cup where we played for draws, we have a great chance.

We've won 11 points against those same teams in the first half of the season. Man City is realistically the only team we can't really compete with.

I'm waiting for the wheels to fall off in good old west ham fashion, it's been a fucking long wait so far and whilst I personally don't think we'll finish where we are, I'm enjoying every fucking moment of it.
It's as if we can't enjoy and celebrate the fact we're laying way above our station, as there's always cunts like you who want to try and dampen it.

Just a little note, in our last meeting with each of those clubs Arsenal are the only ones to have beaten us (at least inside ninety minutes).

We are just about to go into rounds of Euro and FA cups with many of the teams around us involved in these.
Hopefully if we can hold some form may keep us ‘in the pack’.
